Line 6 is recognized as a leader in sound modeling, accurately emulating a wide variety of amps, stringed instruments, and effects through digital technology. For this review, my guitar of choice was a mid-80’s 1962 reissue Fender Telecaster and I used a PreSonus TubePre as the interface between guitar and computer.

The company began as Fender’s Radio Service in late 1938 in Fullerton, California and produced the Telecaster (originally named the ‘Broadcaster) as well as the first mass-produced electric bass, the Precision Bass and the popular Stratocaster (Strat) guitar.
