February is a slow month, (only 8 gigs this month), so this is a great time to work on my chops and develop new ideas. Have my Fender amp and Strat by me and practice every chance I get. Several bands I played with last year have disbanded and I've been doing open jams and passing my cards out trying to get more work. One band I just hooked up with is officially releasing their 1st cd tomorrow, but their music has been on stations around the country for several weeks. Maybe I can tour with them this summer. Another band a couple of guys are still in high school and I'm thrilled at the idea of passing my expertise to the next generation.
