Metal body guitars

    hi there 

    im from belgium and i make my own guitars whit metal body

    sound great 

    one of my builds is a metalcaster beast (i call it that way becouse it sounds like a beast)

    first i create a design i like

    when i find what i want i start to cut out the design out of a steel plate

    front and back

    then i start painting the body

    i like relic guitars

    i think if i make a steel body guitar you have to see the steel

    thats way i relic them (next picture)

    Very cool. But I suppose they are very heavy?

     

    Are you able to work with an aluminum alloy....like the EHX pedals?

    they are not heavy
    its between the 3.2 and 3.6 kg
    i dont know what that is in lbs
    i dont use alu becouse it works verry hard (cold and heet)

    neck: vintage maple neck rosewood

    I'm anxiously looking forward to seeing an explorer type body style in metal. Should be slick!

    the explorer will come but what i wanna try first is a neck out of steel so the hole neck in steel and the fingerboard in wengé
