As for me, I bought a Jackson JS1 back in 2008. I didn't like how the neck played at all. Tapping sounded like pitter patter and barr chords required too much muscle. So I bought a new Fender Strat Neck and thew it on the JS1 and it worked wonders. After that, I swapped out the bland stock bridge Pickup for a Powered by Lace pickup and was happy with the results.

I want to swap out the bridge for a solid non-tremolo [Since I neglect tremolo for the most part] but I'm not sure how risky that is, as it could damage my guitars overall sound.

    Nice. :D

I really want to build a strat like that. I have this old white Lotus "60's strat" replica that looks just like something Hendrix played. I was thinking on buying it a Fender neck and new pickups. As of right now, it's out of commision.

Thanks!  I'd never got round to getting a 335-size guitar because I thght they be too big for my elfin (5'7") frame, but it's not bad at all.  I really like it in fact.  It was a surprise birthday gift from the kids in my church band.

    She rocks pretty hard!
